Resilient floors come in many textures, colors and styles and waxing and polishing floors, based on the surface style requires different techniques, equipment, treatments and specialization.

Office floors are generally manufactured in three styles: plank, sheet and tile. — VCT (Vinyl Composition Tile) and Sheet vinyl. But they can also be made of marble or wood or stone.

Here are some examples:

Vinyl composition tile
VCT comes in 12” tiles and is a porous floor material that can hold up well to strong alkalines, acid, and solvent spills and spots if cleaned up right away. Manufacturers recommend waiting 5 days after installation before doing any maintenance to the flooring. When sealing or applying floor finish to a new VCT floor, the factory finish needs be removed. VCT tile must be sealed with a sealer or sealer/finish.

Other types of commercial flooring
 

Many commercial buildings are now installing stone floors such as ceramic tile, granite, marble and terrazzo. Although these floors may not need the frequent care that resilient tile floors need, they still need to be maintained regularly in order to keep the stone and grout looking good. If not maintained properly, the floor and grout will start to look dull and dirty.

We will recommend a floor care program that is safe for the type of flooring you have in your building. The program we recommend will depend on traffic levels and desired appearance.

Marble flooring

Cleaning marble flooring must be gauged by the frequency of foot traffic and needs to be observed at regular intervals to determine how much cleaning is necessary.

The maintenance of marble has to be handled properly to preserve its shine and extend its life. Proper cleaning comes down to maintenance and the removal of stains and scratches.

CARPET CARE

Soil and Spot Prevention: We will protect your carpet from outdoor soils and stains with a regular sweeping program, properly placed walk-off mats and soil and stain repellent treatments.

Vacuum Cleaning: Carpets in heavy traffic lanes need daily cleaning.

Daily Spot Removal: Quick, attention to a spot can prevent it from becoming a stain.

Interim Carpet Cleaning Services

Although daily vacuuming and spot treatment are the most important steps in carpet maintenance, your carpets will periodically require deeper cleaning.

Bonnet Cleaning: A rotary floor machine, yarn bonnet and the right cleaner loosens soil on the upper carpet fibers.

Carpet Shampooing: Shampoo equipment combines agitation with a high foaming cleaner to loosen and suspends soils so they can be removed by dry vacuuming.

Restorative Carpet Cleaning Services
